Little Dream House

I wanted to share with you a couple more pictures from Kristinestad. This little red house with its beautiful garden and chicken coop were so picturesque that I could not resist taking a few fast shots.

Don't worry, I did not just sneak into some random persons yard, this is owned by one relative of mine. Though she was not home at the time but said we could go and see the chickens and pumpkins if we wanted to. She also gave me some cacti before we left the town and another relative gave me some plants too, which I was very grateful for, I'll try to take good care of all of them. Did you know that you are not supposed to thank when someone gives you plants? If you do, the plants will not survive. I'm so happy that the plant ladyness runs in my blood.

Look at these beautiful plants that are taking over the windowsills, and taking a little peak, I saw they were all over the house!

Have you noticed that plants make me excited and happy... One day I will live in a house completely taken over by plants, almost suffocated by them, like my own jungle. I want it to be in the middle of nowhere, at the end of a long and narrow driveway, with big trees growing on both sides. My narnia.

My dream house is on a large tract surrounded by trees, half-buried into a hillside. I don't want any part of the building poking up and obstructing the hill, just a graceful exposure on one side.

Its hard to describe, but its something I've thought about. Even better there would be a creek running through the middle of the property, which I would integrate as a small waterfall inside of the house itself, running out the front.

Maybe I should try to make a mockup in a 3D program.

Like the gradient on the vines, almost makes me think its changing color to blend in on purpose.

I already know the house you are talking about exists, though I think it is missing the hillside!

hahah by the way if you want come chat me up we can make that exterior, I can help out. I'm not flawless yet but I know my 3D, then I'd say maybe some game engine, like Unreal or Unity ..

I've always thought of water running around to just ooze some chill vibes :)

hahah yeah the vines got me too, looks unreal :D to the lay city men that have never seen better ..

Definitely a charming abode!

Nice n beautiful

Oh, I didn't know you weren't supposed to thank people who give you plants...but nice house in the picture, looks warm and cozy. ^.^

now this is pure 3D :D

Very wonderful publication
Good choice, my friend

Wow that last picture! Magical all the way down to the very last detail.

Ahhh it looks sooo nice. As a Dane I go to Swedish countryside in the weekends as often as i can. So my dream house looks allot like that one.

these are gorgeous shots, chickens always crack me up. I had my dream house for a minute and it was a lot like you described... trees and streams everywhere. :)

Really beautiful! Probably too rustic for me to live there but it would make an amazing getaway house! Just upvoted you.

What a lovely and rather charming abode! Wish I could visit one day!!

Amazing shots, love the vibrancy of the colours!

My dream house is surrounded by chickens and goats. That assures me I will never have to mow the lawn and I will always have eggs for breakfast.

That last shot looks magical, like a computer generated image even :)

So you are a homestead girl :) I have to say time just travels there, so much work and without noticing it's already evening and you are tired :) plus you always have the beauty around you.

You can't really complain :D

I'm glad you like it! :)

I'm definitely a country girl at heart, though I live in the city now. I try to make an escape to the country quite often.

oh I had missed that little snippet

cheers on the plant blood :)

I was going to say it looks close to the cat lady phenomenon, but it's probably better..

good photography, I won't tease :D speaking of which, have you seen the new "busy" look, for the first time I've almost left steemit :D

Much better, cats just make a mess, smell bad and break shit. Plants are very well behaved and beautiful😊

I'm lost here, "busy" look ?

yeah I was reading something about dust,

Wash plants. Make sure plants are kept clean by washing them in the shower or yard. Both real and silk plants should be washed at least once a year to remove dust and keep them clean.

Totally beats cats :D mind you that's in the case of apartments, if you are in the outdoors and have your own house, the air filters itself, the water washes the exteriors and helps out :) there are some good benefits

The busy look you can find here https://nd.busy.org

I have made a post, there are probably many others, you can check out the announcement from busy if you want to join the open beta, or you can just "steemconnect" and try it out :)
