Yesterday I got up early and headed down to Praça do Comércio and walked by the river Tejo towards the 25 de Abril Bridge. It was about 9am so I managed to avoid all the big crowds, very nice and peaceful. The weather was cloudy and hazy, with leaks of sun escaping between the clouds.
Second photo down, I wish I could make out what they wrote in the sand. I like the quality of the light in these, something about how clouds diffuse things and the early morning lend a stillness to it.
You could easily turn these into sources for paintings, or print them out hi-rez and hang on a wall. Like the composition.
