Shower Fresh Polaroids

I love having my makeup and hair done, but equally much I love taking it all off and being squeaky clean.

PS. Behind me are the two most valuable possessions I hold, a pair of paintings by my sister.

I feel like I'm staring at an artifact from distant history.

The picture is an implied frame, with a sub-frame of the polaroid inside.

Recursive branches on a tree. This screen displays your pictures of a picture, the subject shrink-wrapped in clear polymers.

Like printed words on books, nestled deep in the stacks.

Stunning Polaroids and presentation. Could you post pictures of her amazing paintings too?

Thank you :) I'll ask for her permission to show the paintings one day :)

👍😰

May I ask what kind of polaroid is this? From memory the pictures were square not rectangle.

These are taken with Instax Mini.

Polaroid is old school.

We like old school, don't we?

Yes, we do! ;)

Nice ! I like this style even though I don't use my polaroid anymore since I can not find the fitting film

Thanks! You must have one of those real old polaroid cameras, mine is one of the new Fujifilm Instax ones.

Yeah, I'm kinda old head :)

Too many pretty things in this post! <3

Thank you!

Like your polaroid series. If I remember correctly, it was one of those, when I first saw you. Have to admit, that the paintings are a major distraction, beautifully done!! 😉😵

Thank you Reinhard! Should I do polaroids more often? :)
Maybe I'll show a closer look of the paintings one day, if I can get a permission for that :D

Good question... although I would find it hard to make a request (other than the one you so gracefully fulfilled), because you have such a good feeling for always choosing the perfect "subject" for your posts...

Such wonderful variety, so its always a little bit of a surprise and never gets boring. Your polaroid series and the way you present them, are little artworks in itself to me and therefore I really like them. Just like anything else from you, be it a Pizza, the elegant Lady or a cottage in the forest!

I'd love to see the paintings in... (should I say it?)... high res 😜

I know you keep your blog elegant and clean, but may I ask you to consider tolerating a link here in the comments?

I don't mind the requests, I'm quite happy to hear if there is something you especially would like to see me do :)

I'll let you know as soon as I get the permission to post high res pictures of the paintings, you are going to love them.

For you, I'll resteem the post you linked, if Steemit wants to works....

Resteeming this post is so very nice of you, that really means a lot to me 💝
The more people we can get interested in the project, the better the chance to get good bids on all the artworks and to generate as much as possible for the children and their families in need.

I could kick myself for not being able to go to steemfest... I would have trailed you for sure to model for me. Hopefully there will be another opportunity...

I know I'll love the paintings, they already look very promising at this size. Is your sister a professional artist?

I so wished you could have attended Steemfest! Maybe next year ;)

I guess she is, it's all she has ever done in her life, since age three. She just started at a new art school, I don't know what it's called in English but I think it's a university level art school.

That's funny, as I think I was three as well, the first time my dad put a brush in my hand.

Am I getting this right, your sister is teaching at the academy? Impressive! Well, no surprise, really... from what I can see there is a lot of talent and creative potential in the family genes!

No, she is a student😅 She’s a couple years younger than me, though a lot more talented in everything artistic.

Excellent photography. Go ahead @eveuncovered

awesome! I love when you do polaroid sets :)
