The Garden of Eve

I want to live in a jungle, but you know, without the bugs, reptiles and excessive humidity. So I collect (read: hoard) plants in to my little city apartment, dreaming that one day it's so full that it truly looks like a different world you step in, sunlight sifted throug beautiful green leaves and you'd be filled with tranquility.

With the rate that I'm killing plants, it's going to be a looong way to go. Though I do blame the environment for it, definitely not a user-based problem.. I need to re-insulate my windows, get a humidifier and find some grow lights before next winter. Weed growers, any tips?

Brace yourself, nip slips to follow. And I don't want to tag this as not safe for work, 'cause these are so mild in my opinion and it limits the visibility. Sorry not sorry.

Yesterday I gathered almost all my plant babies to play with me in the sun, enjoy. For those who are interested, my fellow models are: Peace Lily, Golden Pothos, Madagascar Jewel, English Ivy, Coffea Arabica, Snake Plant, Fern, Guzmania and an Orchid. I think that was all of them.

Here I present to you, my most important tool, after the camera, the remote control. This little sucker always trying to take the spotlight. Posting this picture anyways, cause I like how the Ivy is wrapped around me.

If you ever want to make me happy, get me house plants. Please and thank you.

I don't know anything about growing plants and keeping them alive but I love having them around. My dream is to have a vast garden and a koi pond too. This garden will be very fruitful too with tomato, strawberry, and blueberry plants. I even might go crazy and try to have a pineapple tree.

That sounds very lovely, but might requaire some knowledge about plants. Or maybe hired help with them :D

Amazing photos! I love the lighting of the sun. The best lighting is natural light

Thanks. I agree about natural light, plus it's pretty much the only light I know how to use :D

lol me too!

Great post!

Thank you :)

This is an amazing post, loved it :)

Thank you!

These houseplants suits you well! Also this really should not have the NSFW tag. this are just nice images

Thanks! I think so too, sweet enough to be safe for work.

Nice pics ! I have few plants growing at my house and backyard. They sure make place look more like home!

Definitely! A home looks pretty bleak without some greenery.

Nice post. following.

Thanks!

As always, an intimate look in to your world @eveuncovered. Something I thing you may enjoy collecting the bizarre hobbyist carnivorous plants and exotic tropicals. I was obsessed with this for years, especially when combined with different species of mantids. I doubt this company ships to Finland, but you can read and learn about the varieties. http://www.blackjungleterrariumsupply.com/Plants_c_1.html

Oooh, what odd pretty little things! Now I just need to find out where I could find similar plants in Finland. Thanks for the tip!

Beautiful Series.

Thank you :)

Beautiful shots, @eveuncovered! I liked the way you combined the plants. Keep up the good work.

Amazing post 👏

I've visited the rainforests.... it sucks; mosquitoes, beatles, lizards of all types and snakes everywhere... Nice arrangement You've got going there

Haha, thanks for confirming my thoughts about rainforests, now I don't have to go and see for myself :D

You're welcome 😊

Beautiful pics! I love the tropics too, but we have it with the humidity, insects and other critters hehe!

Thanks! I wish you could only choose the beautiful and safe parts of the tropics, would be perfect! :)

Hehe.. you get used to it! Takes about 1.5 to 2 years to get over the mosquitos... I think they still bite but no more red itchy bumps... and snakes and other critters are not such a regular sight... luckily ;)

Beautiful photography as always, well done!

Thank you!

Exotic!

Amazing thank you 🙌🏻 Upvoted 🙌🏻

Thank you very very much! :)

These are great. Love the "jungle" scenario. Maybe even better than Marlboro Man :P
