The dunes around beaches here have some very cool plants growing. If you are on the beach one day and have the opportunity, go have a look around.
This is Sedum sediforme that just loves the conditions around Lagoa de Albufeira (Portugal). There is so many of them sticking out from the sand and they look like tiny little trees with the naked stems. The conditiones there are harsh, especially in very early spring when I took this photo, thus the red colour on the leaves.
This one doesnt seem to bee to lucky. It's like that joke when kids dig someone under the sand when they are asleep :D
It is almost time for the to boom I think. My one (I have one in a pot too) is slowly getting longer on the tip and will form tiny, little yellow flowers soon :)
