I had to shade the cacti on the balcony today. Even though they are used to the sun, they would cook. When the tiles and wall heats up, the temperatures are hard to handle even for them. At least they have some shade now...
One more.. for the extra cooling effect :p

I can't wait for some cooler temperatures and some rain.... I really can't handle the heat for this long. But I still feel kind of lucky that we're not getting that 40+ degrees over here!

This summer is cool here, just 30 degrees or few numbers up. But last three summers were 36 in shade for many weeks. But, to be honest, I like it more than -10 :)
But !!! I have never been on 44 in shade

It was so nice here so far. Very "cold" for a summer in Portugal, but I loved it. Now August is going to look like a burning hell :p

It was so nice here in Croatia, too. And now it is really hot. But not as hot as in Portugal... Just keep in shade, rest and drink water. You'll survive.
