Cabruta. - Red alert was decreed before the flood in several rivers, among these the Orinoco, for having surpassed the record in flood, as it was informed by the Direction of National Civil Protection.
In the population of Cabruta belonging to the municipality of Las Mercedes del llano in the Guárico state, 489 affected families have been counted so far before the onslaught of this mighty river.
Up to now, more than 10 shelters have been installed to house the affected families. The river surpassed the normal growth rates and managed to flood streets and sectors that have been under water.
Likewise, they have been reported affected in Parmana, Municipio Infante, as well as in Roscio, Guayabal and Camaguán.
As usual, the regional government promised to "help all those affected" by taking care of families, such as damage to homes, streets, services, and plantings that were lost as a result of the floods. "
