এই পাতাবাহার গাছটি অসাধারণ দেখতে ।মানুষ বারান্দায় কিংবা অফিসের করিডরে বা গেটে এই ধরণের পাতা বাহার লাগাতে দেখা যায় । অসাধারণ এই গাছটি মানুষের ঘরের কাছে বা ঘরের মধ্যে একটি প্রাকৃতিক আভা এনে দেয় । কিন্তু এই গাছটির বিষাক্ততা নিয়ে বেশ খ্যাতি রয়েছে । এই জন্য এই গাছটি শিশুদের কাছ থেকে দূরে রাখা জুরুরি ।এই গাছে আছে ক্যালসিয়াম অক্সালেট যা মানুষের জন্য বেশ ক্ষতিকর ।
কাজেই দেখতে যতোই সুন্দর হোক শিশুদের কাছ থেকে গাছটি দূরে রাখা দরকার । অনেকে এই গাছ গুলো বাসা বাড়িতে ঝুলিয়ে রাখে । সেক্ষেত্রে এগুলো শিশুদের কাছ থেকে দূরে রাখা যায়। অথবা আরও যে সব পাতা বাহার গাছ যেমন পিস লিলি , গোল্ডেন পথস , স্নেক প্লান্ট রয়েছে সেগুলো বাড়িতে রাখা যেতে পারে। এই গাছ গুলোতে তেমন ক্ষতিকারক কেমিক্যাল নেই । যা শিশুদের কে নিয়ে চিন্তায় ফেলে না । আমরা এগুলো বাসায় লাগাতে পারি।
