    This mushroom is also known as amanita muscaria. I love the ethnobotany of the particular mushroom. It grows all over the globe. St. Nick (aka Santa Clause) red and white outfit, flying reindeer and the term shaman are all associated with the amazing fungus. Worth learning more about. Great picture.

        Or perhaps its the muscaria var. formosa?

        Learning about mushrooms is fun, there are a lot of different kinds... identification is key.
