The river and Bangladesh are named after the same thread. The river is closely connected with the soil and the people of this country. The rivers are spread everywhere in this country. Bangladesh is called the world's largest delta, which is formed by clogging the riverbed clogged. Padma, Meghna, Jamuna and Brahmaputra are the main rivers of Bangladesh. These rivers have tributaries and branches. The main rivers are described below:

Padma: Padma, one of the largest rivers in Bangladesh. Its length is 366 km. It originates from the Gangetri glacier of the Himalayas. Under the Shibganj upazila of Chapainawabganj district, Gangadasi entered Bangladesh in the name of Padma. Padma river meets Yamuna in Dauladia of Goalanda thana of Rajbari district. In addition to the Meghna in Chandpur, the Meghna fall into the Bay of Bengal. The main branches of the Padma are: Kumar, Garai, Bhairab, Madhumati, Arial Khan, Mathabhanga, Ichamati, Chitra etc. The tributaries of Padma are Mahananda, Nagar river, Punarbhaba, Tangan and Kulich.
