Hi Everybody,

This is my first post on Steemit! I'm still getting used to how things work around here, but am looking forward to sharing some of my photography with you.

Would be glad to hear some tips or comments to get me started in the community... Who should I be following? Know any good photography-related hashtags I should use? Let me know!

In the meantime, you are welcome to check out my photography website: http://www.reciprocityimages.com/

Welcome! You made a great start, only recommendation I have is to enter the photo contests each day. Love the picture, I will follow you.

Thanks for the recommendation and the follow! I will look into the daily contests, or could you point me in the right direction so I can follow and participate? I haven't quite figured out how to search for specific things here yet... =)

There are different contests each day, check the newest post here to see which two contests of the day are running: https://steemit.com/@photocontests

Thanks again, will follow @photocontests

Also, can anyone tell me how to add a profile photo? I can't quite figure it out... I'm sure I'm missing something really obvious?

you need to upload the picture you want to imgur.com or something similar, then copy and past the link into the "Profile Picture" slot in your settings!

P.S. Killer picture!

Thanks, will give it a try!
