This picture captures such stark contrasts. The movement of the stars centered by the steady stillness of the woods. The crisp clarity of the sky reflected as the fluid imperfections of the lake. The slow and steady march of time condensed into a fast and furious moment. And in the midst of all this my eye is drawn to a singular burst of light off centered and to the right that seems to have been filtered and condensed by the darkness of the wilds and offers a quiet stability to offset the forceful dynamics of change.
