I took these pictures in Upper Peninsula of Michigan near Lake Superior in the town of Gwinn.
I used three GoPro Hero 2 cameras set at 0.5 second intervals and staggered. I let them run the duration of the storm and recorded literally thousands of photos. Most of the photos were black or spotted and basically useless. But I did manage to get these few that are, in my opinion, awesome.
So if you enjoy watching storms and seeing flashes of lightening or just enjoy a great picture of such, then these are for you.
Please enjoy:
(you hear an engine rev and horn honk)
MEEP! MEEP!
(the window on the humvee rolls down to reveal a warm smiling face)
"Hello! I'm @shadow3scalpel and with the help of my protege, @chairborne, we are actively assisting veterans, retirees and active servicemen and women here on Steemit. We feel it is our 'duty' to support each other. Any questions or comments you may have, simply respond to this comment, thank you!"
(the window rolls up and the engine roars as it drives to the next person on the list)
