Just bought a Nikon D500

As i like photography very much and i want to improve in the field of hobby photograhy and get an ambitious wildlife photographer i just bought my Nikon D500 Camera. It will be delivered in about 2 Weeks and i am looking forward. It is the best APSC Camera from Nikon and for wildlife photography i need the Crop factor to get even closer to the animals. It will be a perfect pair with my Sigma 150-600mm lens which i already use for wildlife photography with my Nikon D5100.

As Nikon is offering a Cashback of € 175.- to the Nikon D500 i decided to make the move and buy it now before the Cashback ends. The Autofokus of the Camera is really fast and precise, it has 153 Autofocus points with phase detection. Because of this the Camera is very good for sports and wildlife photography, to get a sharp image even when the objects are moving very fast across the Image field, and with 3D tracking you can follow for example fast moving objects like race cars all over the picture.

Another cool feature is the very long series recording of 200 pictures in a row with up to 10 pictures per second. As for connectivity the Nikon D500 has Wifi, bluetooth and NFC, as well as USB and HDMI. I am looking forward to show you the first pictures i'll make with this beautiful piece of Camera.

Good stuff! Wish I can upgrade my camera soon. I changed from a Sony A100 to Nikon D5500, so I have yet to try my hands on a mid-range DSLR.

Yes nice, I am looking forward to my first trips with this Camera. But now in January it is so cold and not the best time in wildlife, in Landscape Photography it will not be so much of an improvement because you don't need the features. In Spring, summer and autum i will do again some wildlife photography where this camera should perform way better than my old one.

Sounds cool! Look forward to see your wildlife shots! What telephoto lens do you use?
