In Summer 2017 i took some pictures of a thunderstorm with lightnigs that took place over Linz. From my homeplace i had a wonderful view above the city and the lightnings, so i decided to install my tripod and take some longtime exposure shots. I also had the luck that i could take these pictures directly from my room and stayed dry all the time. I took several pictures with different exposure times to capture the lightnings. I still remember it was not that easy because sometimes there was a strike every few seconds and then there wasn't one for several minutes. And also a lot of strikes didn't come down to the ground but only fired in the clouds wich isn't that spectacular.
