We have October now and autumn is hitting the forrests and trees. You can see the beautiful colors of the leaves everywhere and from day to day it is getting more and more interesting to do some colorful autumn shots. I like the combination of flowing water and colorful colors of the leaves when doing so. So i visit several creeks and small rivers for some autumn photography. I do a lot of longtime exposure shots to smooth out the water and create this "fairytale" look in the images.

Usually you need to use a ND filter for doing such long exposure shots, but when you are in the shadow of the trees it might be enough to just close the Aperture and do some tries of different exposure times. If the water is fast enough you still get these fairytale look pictures. Tomorrow i also plan to do some longtime exposure shots with Stefan in the "Aisttal" which is also a small river in Upper Austria where we don't need to drive so far with the car. Since the weather is not going to be the best. But for Photogrpahy this is pretty good because you get much better intense colors.
