This morning is my little breather before another marathon week ahead. I'm not complaining, mind you. At least I'm trying not to. I'm just here to say how much I love to sit outside early in the morning and listen to life. It has always been my favorite thing to do. Once that sky turns blue, it is go time and I soak up as much of that sunrise as possible.
This picture was taken with my Panasonic GH5 with the Olympus M. Zuiko 7-14. This is a bracketed shot with the top the picture (the actual sunrise) an underexposed image blended in Gimp with the bottom (the ground) in a more exposed shot. Both images were processed as RAW files before blending in Gimp with Darktable.
As an Open Source fan, I find that these software solutions are every bit as powerful as proprietary software. Many people assume that free means lesser quality, but that is simply not true, especially today. There is no doubt that they are different from each, and there are features on each that are better or worse than their counterpart. It all depends on your preference and style, and probably mostly, what you started learning with.
