We recently went from Victoria to Vancouver on a friends boat. It was really weird because mainly big ferries make this crossing, so we got a different perspective on things and also got to experience some pretty crazy currents. I didn't take a lot of photos, but it was neat to get up close to some big tankers on our way.
This is quite a small ferry that we passed, but it was amazing how smooth and controlled it was, we were getting pitched all over the place in one area called Active Pass. Once we crossed the straight, we started seeing some big tankers from all over, they are absolutely massive, especially when your right next to one in a 30ft boat
