HISTORY OF THE PERUVIAN CARNIVAL
The carnival of Ayacucho - PERU, is an Andean carnival that is known for its origin, which is associated with the nativity of the earth for its natural essences, which, in turn, has great importance in humanity. It is the world's largest famous of the Andes as its music that is very cheerful and special. We can say that the Spaniards, as a political technique in ideology, which accustoms to placing the Andean celebration, as the Western religious, is what we call cultural syncretism.
CELEBRATION
The Ayacucho Carnival is celebrated for 3 days, said days in which the streets are mostly taken, as the rural and urban places is where the city fills with many colors and gases in all the zones of the city, especially if in the central areas where comparsas gather in greater quantity, at the same time that the "corta Montes" are celebrated in all the neighborhoods of the city. And they are established in this way:
On the first day of the Ayacucho Carnival, it begins with the entrance of the "Ño Carnavalón" to the town square.
- ÑO CARNAVALON (Large doll that represents the authority of the region that was controversial in its mandate)
After the entrance of the "Ño Carnavalón", the urban areas then enter the square, singing and dancing with great enthusiasm before the eyes of thousands of civilians gathered for this festivity; as the comparsas are leaving, the areas that now not only from the center, but from the whole city, are filled with these comparsas, which will dance and sing until the wee hours of the night, listening to the joy of the whole city that they carry in their walk.
- Parade through the city
Already on the second day they hold a meeting of more comparsas throughout the city, they dance and sing between serpentines and talc, between songs in Quechua and Spanish. The "Ño Carnavalón" this day does not leave the city, this day is the comparsas.
