"So much of our happiness depends on how we choose to look at the world"

Here's me standing on a balcony at a house I used to live at, in Chile, looking at Volcano Calbuco.
Fun fact: This volcano actually erupted in April, 2015, and I got to watch it erupt from my back yard!

Wow you are so lucky to have witnessed an active vulcano to erupt:)
The only two Vulcanos I've seen are the Etna and the Vesuvio. Never seen lava but some smoke is still exciting:)
Thanks for sharing.
Cheers!

It was super exciting for me. Hey, even to see smoke.. that's incredible and definitely not something you see everyday! Haha

Wow, scary story, haha! I wouldn't be that brave to live close to a vulcano who can errupt :D

It was a little scary, but mostly exciting. Because there was a huge lake in between me and the volcano.. so that was a comfort! haha

Haha, yeah then everything should be fine and enjoy the view :D

Living life to the fullest is my goal!

It must be an amazing experience watching a volcano erupt! How does it happen? What were u doing that time?

It was super actually! Me and my sister were practicing soccer in the backyard, when we heard this extremely loud rumbling.. and the ground shook a bit, and we turned around and we see so much volcanic plume in the sky, shooting out of the volcano.. and in the night time there was lava!

Woahhh, amazing experience, like once in a lifetime chance only! Great that u get to see it in your eyes! Manage to capture any pictures of it? hehe

what a nice volcano...

The volcano is pretty amazing!

Good thing you lived a long ways away. That must been exciting to see it erupt! Did you happen to catch any photos?

Yes, it was a good thing there was a lake separating us haha. I did take pictures! I will be posting about the eruption :)

Fantastic Journey. Chile looks amazing. Hopefully you found some local Obsidian near the Volcano.
