Hello Steemians,
Today I forced myself to go to a place where there are so many people, I would normally never go there, but I put myself in a state of mind where I felt completely insignificant in the big scheme of things. I had to, I am very self conscious, and prone to anxiety attacks if I think people are looking at me. I know this is foolish, that even if people do look at me, it's only for a brief moment in time, and therefore does not matter.
Today I am the silent observer
In my town, this is the most expensive college that money can buy! The people that attend this school are considered to be upper class. It was certainly obvious that I was not a student there, but I didn't care.

You are indeed correct! They certainly do not make them like they used to.
I am in upstate New York, United States. Many of the structures around here were originally built as civil war forts. Since then they have been converted to colleges, prisons, and office buildings. A few hotels, and subsidised living quarters. Thank you for stopping by!

I felt like I needed to do this. I did think about the fact that I could have entered contests, but that isn't why I did this. I needed to go out and just jump into the belly of the beast (face some of my issues.)

You will see more! I was just thinking, I may go to some of the awesome cemeteries around here. My sister caught some full blown aperitions on film. There was simply no denying what she caught. It is strict I am sure! Very expensive school. Stuck up snobby people go there. But the architecture is worth looking at!

True , it looks great but a bit sad for me at the same time .....reminds me of a nunnery I was forced to go wen I was a child ....maybe that's why I get a creepy feeling around it, thinking of the poor little innocent children ....

The building I live in now was a nunnery years ago. And yes, I am sure some of the students there are being somewhat forced by their parents to attend, and chase a dream that isn't their own. Sad indeed.
