Vera has always been the best baker I've ever known. :) And I've known a few.

      Here's the recipe for you:

      • 4dl wheat flour
      • 1dl sugar
      • 1dl dark syrup
      • 2tsp ground clove
      • 2tsp ground ginger
      • 2tsp ground peel of bitter orange
      • 1tsp baking soda
      • 1dl raisins
      • 1dl melt margarine or butter (~100g)
      • 3dl sourcream or sourmilk

      Set your oven at 175°C. Butter the tin. Melt the margarine or butter and let it cool down.
      Mix the dry ingredients in a bowl. Add the melt butter/margarine, sourcream/-milk, and syrup.
      Mix the dough until even consistency. Pour the dough into tin and bake for 1 hour.
