No more waiting, finally I'm posting the weekly post in time! :)
I know it's like a party for you guys, getting two weeklies on the same day! Here's...
34th week in pictures:
Product shoot – Steam Controller
Emptiness in white
Cataloguing the plants #6, Apenkieli – Sansevieria (Edit: "Anopinhammas"?)
So I finally got to reading...
It was a fun week, although I wasn't awake most of it. I wonder why I get so tired so often these days.
Anyway. I think I'm going to post some more photos daily from now on. I have a feeling I'm going to need the income in the future.
Much more...
Since I told my father of my recent prospects, that I've been dreaming of building a log house, he told my aunt. She's interested of selling me a property lot...
I wonder if we should take a loan for building a house. Does any bank accept cryptocurrencies as collateral?

If you liked the post, consider buying me a beer:
Let me take a look, two beers, steem pad, and reading a book, you really had a good week, you even take a break that's great, by the way as the book goes, it usually takes me more then a one week to finish a book I like to read slow : D, good luck with the house thing but the truth sounds like a pretty big project.

For me in this series the one I like the most is #234, I love the dark touch that the landscape has
:D
Btw As a guarantee I do not know but there in some countries, there are already real estate agencies that accept bitcoin as a form of payment to acquire real estate

I doubt that banks will accept cryptocurrency as collateral. I'm curious to know it goes though. It's always a great idea to get a house built from scratch.

In a very future, Im sure they gonna accept crypto but its just a matter of time and adoption by the people who would like to support crypto then its unstoppable. I might be wrong too but its just my point of view. But, thats a beautiful house, good luck in fulfilling your dreams :D xx

just give it a year or two and you will be able to buy the house fully with the value you will have in crypto even if you have to change it over to fiat to make the buy.
:D
Im jelly of the controler.

That is nice trying to build a house. But it seems in your country building a house will be very expensive since you want to take a loan.
In my country 2000 SBD when converted to fiat, would be enough to build a house.

Hey @gamer00, just wait a few years and the banks will beg you to use bitcoin as payment method, well maybe not, but you would still able to buy your dream house anyway.
I think #238 is the best photo of the week, love how the light from the sun give so much color to the picture, cheers : D

Winter, beer and staying home with a book and getting use of that gaming controller. It brings me that nice indoors winter feeling. Great job again this week! :)

I can say that I have followed closely all these publications, and one in particular brought back fond memories of my childhood,
Hopefully and you can, build that beautiful house, but without needing the bank. I believe that with steemit it is possible, your dedication is reflected.

I might not need a bank, but I will probably have to wait for a suitable window for investing. (I might be able to buy the property, but may end up having to postpone the building process.) It's not like I don't have the money, it's just that I need to be smart about investing it to not hurt my present and future income too much.
It's one thing to buy a house, but we should be able to afford to live in it too. Owning something of that magnitude ultimately means more living costs. I need to factor those in before buying. A loan would make it somewhat easier, but I have to admit Markku is right. Taking a loan does not come without (huge) risks of its own.

I imagine you have to weigh many things to make that decision? good in the previous post you made me a comment about the decisions. especially for the loan to the bank. and not risk the future

It is important to use lifecycle cost analysis particularly in this case. Ground rent? Property taxes? Heating costs? Utilities? Maintenance and repairs? Renovation costs? Insurance? It would be downright stupid to save on essential insurance policies. When estimating future maintenance, repair and renovation costs, it would wise to assume that each structure and system would need to be replaced when its design lifetime is up. Your brother can help fill you in on the details. I think we have the condition inspection report of a house we were indending to buy last spring still around somewhere. The report template of the company that did it includes a table of design lifetimes of pretty much all of the most important structures and systems of a house.
It is possible to have a house built with the aim of minimizing the cost of ownership after the building is finished. However, I would warn against over-insulating the house. There is political pressure to minimize carbon dioxide emissions possibly at the cost of an increased risk of moisture damage in the thermal insulation layer. It is a matter under dispute among experts whether or not building a zero-emission house makes any sense. What the dispute between the State Research Institute (Finnish acronym VTT) and Tampere University of Technology Civil Engineering Department is about is the fact that the TUT guys think having too thick a layer of insulation might result in the dew point forming inside the insulating material resulting in moisture damage over time. No vapor barrier will remain intact forever and none are perfectly installed in the first place. The Ministry of the Environment has wanted to downplay this risk for Finland to be better able to meet CO2 emission reduction targets. According to critics, the ministry has been ordering reports from VTT until they have been able to have something to support their point of view. But wherever possible, I'd consider using materials, structures and systems designed to be as cheap to maintain and use as feasible.

Having crypto earnings probably won't help you to get a loan I'd imagine. However it is still possible to get a loan with relatively small savings. You could always make like 50% of the house price yourself and then take a loan for the rest. I definitely recommend getting a new house because we just built a new one 2 years ago and it has been really nice.

Forgot to mention but you could also sell some of your Steem (if that is possible) since you have quite a bit of it on your second account too

Yea that's a possibility, although powering down does take a while. But I do have other cryptos to sell, I'm just thinking (and Vera actually said it aloud) that I should take a loan, and then pay it back from my crypto (earnings and/or capital) income. That way we wouldn't be paying extra for inflation.

I think trying to earn more on Steem would be a great idea. Your photography has been getting better. If you were to post more, it would further accelerate your development as a photographer. I think you're well on your way to becoming a professional in the field. This platform enables you to develop that into a trade while making tons of money in the process. I consider property shoots a very real possibility for you to earn a stream of income on the fiat side eventually.

I think I'll go with #233 and #238. Photo #233 is an epic shot and I love it. I really love black and white photos because of the drama that BW produces. It is really nice. The #238 photo, you beautifully take the picture of the church. The colors are great and its vivid. What I really love in this photo is the history and architecture of the church.
