My entry to the Healthy Garden Competition - Gardeningchef

in photography •  6 years ago

Hello!

Yesterday I became aware of @dobartim's Healthy Garden Competition - a 10 day running competition that encourages a healthy lifestyle and eating/growing your own fruits & vegetables. My garden is doing well at the moment so I knew I had to enter.

Last night we experienced torrential rain, quite unusual but the plants in the polytunnel were happy to receive it. I went in this morning to check on everything and took this photo of the tomatoes whilst I was there.

The tomatoes are the healthiest and most prolific plant in my garden right now which is why I wanted to highlight them for my competition entry.

I hope you like my post and if you have some garden photos you'd like to enter, check out the competition here!

You're most welcome.

Nothing can match the freshness, taste and satisfaction in our own produced farm veggies.

I also have a small garden, lets me share some captures with you.

I appreciate your U&R :D

some tomatoes full of a lot of life, you can see that they have been cultivated with great passion to give csecha that will be of great benefit and taste and clear the rain gives them more life, the amount of minerals that has rainwater is very important, Congratulations

I agree with you on the rain @marlongonzalez - my plants are looking happier today after the rainfall :)

Hi @gardeningchef, beautiful photograph of the delicious tomatoes 🍅 your growing in your garden! You have a wonderful eye for photography, placing the tiny tomatoes in the middle of your picture as a brilliant focal point. The picture is so clear you can see a small amount of moisture 💧dropping from two tomatoes. I wanted to personally thank you for the kind support you show @magiccleatus, and all of us that enter in his zen colouring contest. I appreciate it, your very kind friend. I love what your doing here on Steemit, promoting good health! Your wonderful, I pray that you and your family will have great success in all you do friend❣️A1821F27-CF5F-4056-9826-4D973CBEC292.jpeg

Hello @lildebbiecakes! I'm glad you like my photo of the tomatoes. The little water droplet is a raindrop, the remnants of the downpour of rain we had the night before!!

I am happy to donate to the ZCC, @magiccleatus clearly puts in a lot of effort each week and it is rewarding to help out those who need and deserve it, when I am able.

Thank you very much for stopping by and being so kind. I hope you are having a wonderful week!

Wow surely you will be the winner.

Very kind of you to say @deepthim :)
