Today i had a really b.ad sweet tooth. So i need to fix this problem before it gets a lot worse than it is now. So I decided on fixing a cake with some good ole chocolate in it. I am a big chocolate lover. My wife runs a close second with me on being a chocolate lover. Many a time we fight about who will get the last taste of chocolate, whatever kind it may be.
We see that our flour and milk are out. The flour is all ready in mixing bowl and the milk is measured out.
We have poured our cake mixture in our cake pans. Trying to get both cake pans as equal as possible.
After cooking at 350 degrees F. for about 25 to 30 minutes. Our two cake pans have our cooked cakes in them.
We let our cakes cool a couple of minutes. Then we turn them over onto a wire rake, covered with a cloth. The cloth helps keep the cake from sticking to the racks. It also helps keep crumbs from getting every wheres.
Now, that they have cooled for a good 30 minutes. You then thump onto the cake pans a couple of times. So your cakes just fells out.
You are ready to start icing your cake. I take a couple of spatulas, one on each side of the cake. You then lift the cake onto your container or whatever your putting your cake in.
We can now start icing our cake with chocolate icing. Pick up your off-set spatula and start dipping in your chocolate icing and begin to putting icing on your cake.
