The Diamond Jubilee series was produced for Thunderbird on the occasion of the 75th anniversary of Ford Motor Company (the same edition was also given to Lincoln Mark V).
"Diamond Jubilee Thunderbirds" were produced in only one color, "Diamond Blue Metallic".
They have been equipped with a special velor interior with luxurious equipment as standard.
Renewed copies are currently highly sought-after and valued by model and collector enthusiasts.
