Burl on an beech tree "Small child" - wonders of nature.

Hello, friends!
I continue to acquaint you with unusual trees. Today I present to you a large burl on the tree of Beech. It was a little more than a soccer ball. Burl comes from a tree experiencing stress. It can be caused by trauma, a virus or a fungus. This burl reminded me of an infant who cuddles up against his mother. Look at my photos, which you can enlarge.

I like it @grildrig! I watched a pretty cool Netflix series, and one of the guys hunts for giant burls for their beautiful wood. I had no idea that they were so unusual and valuable! Thanks for sharing 😊
