Arashiyama Interesting Bamboo Forest in Japan

Kyoto, #Japan's Sagano Bamboo Forest is often featured on website lists highlighting the most beautiful woodlands in the world. The railings and fences through the Sagano Bamboo Forest are made of dried bamboo stalks and leaves that have already fallen from the plants. In Japan's Sagano Bamboo Forest, on the outskirts of Kyoto, towering green stalks of the famously versatile plant sway in the wind, creaking eerily they collide and twist, leaves rustling.

From the hustle and bustle of #Tokyo to the peaceful bamboo forest in Kyoto and all the quaint towns in between, Japan has so much to offer. Visiting this famous bamboo grove in Arashiyama was one of the highlights of my trip. Given bamboo has strong roots, it is seen as a symbol of prosperity and strength in Japan. I felt so small walking through this green path, the early morning light shone down through the forest creating a magical setting everyone should experience.
