My neighbor in a Light Tank Part II. - Which Light Painting do you like better?

in photography •  3 years ago

The silhouette of my neighbor. Rusty or colorful?

When we went to an old military facility the first 3 shots of the night I share here today. We were particularly interested in looking 'into' two of the fuel tanks. The tanks are empty for 30 years and aren't smelling much like gas anymore. So that was good news. We still hesitated lighting fireworks. So that did not happen that night.

With the colors or without colors.

The simple light paintings sometimes are the coolest. A normal photographer will look in awe and try to figure out where the lights have been, when all there was, was one light source walking = me.
What do you prefer? Rusty or colorful?

This spot is only 30min from where I live so I am pretty confident that I will find my way back there soon.

Quickly the test shot for you as well:

You can see my feet and you can see me actually shining into the camera for a moment. Nonetheless, I love the shot because the lighting apart from those two little mistakes could have been super amazing.

I really hope you liked what you saw and this was informative and maybe also inspirational. If you have more questions please do not hesitate. I am happy to share my knowledge.
