Traveling To Sabang - 1st Day

Have you heard about Sabang? hm? what about Indonesia? Sabang is an Island in the western part of Indonesia. This place is not so well known, but I think this is what make Sabang special, travelers can enjoy their time without being surrounded by the crowd, and the place still quite clean

To reach Sabang we need to cross the ocean using a ship, it takes approximately 2 hours to reach the Island from Banda Aceh (the main Island) to Sabang, but if you used a fast boat, it will only take around 45 minutes to reach the destination.

Can you see the Island? yes, That's our destination.

Wooohooo.... after spending around 1 hour on the ocean now we can see the Island clearly, beautiful, isn't it?

In the 1st day, we decided to visit few places, started from this museum, because when I visit a place I'd love to know about the history and culture of that place.



Next we visited a lake in this Island, it's so clean and wonderful, I really love this Island

This is the lake, it is said in the past, ship used to reload their fresh water from this lake. I wish I could spend more time over here.

On the afternoon we decided to watch sunsets on a beach not too far from our home stay.

And at the night we decided to eat Sate Gurita (Octopus Sate), a special food from this Island.
