The camera is a mechanical instrument used in recording images. Today, I am going to share with you 'HOW TO USE THE CAMERA TO THE OPTIMUM ADVANTAGE'

  1. Have the strap of the camera round your neck so as to prevent it from dropping accidentally.

  2. Place the bottom of the camera on your left palm in such a way that your thumb and first finger could grab the lens for easy control of the aperture and focusing rings.

  3. Hold the camera with your right hand, in a way that the thumb could be used to wind-on the film while the first finger is positioned on the shutter release button.

  4. Now compose the object by looking through the view finder. Your editing and probing start here. Do not include more than what is necessary in the viewfinder because what you see there represents the final picture. Try different angles and viewpoints for better representation.

  5. When using the camera, have your elbows close to the body to achieve balance. If it is convenient, the whole body can be braced against a solid structure.

  6. Set the shutter speed for flash or outdoor photography.

  7. Adjust the aperture for brightness and focus on the object by setting the correct distance. Wait for the moment of action, hold your breath amd click. Wind the film immediately after each exposure.

  8. After the last exposure, depress the little black button at the bottom of the camera and wind the film back into its cassette with the aid of the crank-handle.

  9. Do not open the camera until the film has been completely winded back into the cassette to avoid the film being fogged.

  10. If the camera refuses to function, do not force it, except you are ready to spend more on repairs.
