"You didn't go autobiographically did you?"
"No, that would reveal that I hadn't actually read most of them."
"Then what?"
"By colour."

"Yeah - I read it in a blog post somewhere."
"And Felicity had some sort of problem with this?"
"She said it prioritized aesthetics over the substance, apparently it is symptomatic of my conditioning as a man, and shows her that I'm not the person to grow old with because I'll always be chasing beauty and won't appreciate her once here looks have faded"
"Well, she's read you like a book, where would the 'I fully understand my ex-boyfriend's deepest insecurities section."
