Coin Collecting - Kennedy Bicentennial Half Dollar

These two coins were struck in 1976 at the Detroit facility. They are pretty common so they're only worth their face value of $.50.

The reverse features Independence Hall and was designed for the United States' bicentennial anniversary.

That's all the information I could find. These are fairly common coins, though I feel most people don't spend them except in desperation.

My grandpa collected one for every grandkid and mine was stolen with my wallet during the car wreck... my grandma found out and i got a new one and the piggy bank he always kept them in.
I never got into coin collections. I'm a weirdo that keeps keys lol
