Itchy Sping Feelings

The theme this week from the Boyer Vision Challenge hosted by @boyerobert was a photo to show what to you means "SPRING". And now there are many many things to photograph what shows from what I get a real spring feeling. But one of those things to me, is "FLOWERS". And which flower could be more a spring feeling for a Dutch girl then the Tulip.

So here is my photo for this weeks Boyer Vision Challenge. A few nice red tulips. That to me is a real sign that the SPRING is here.

But the tulips ... they are still beautifully in full bloom

At first I was thinking about photographing the newborn lambs. Then I thought to take a picture of the young budding greenery on the trees, but yes ... since spring is already in the Netherlands for a while, the trees are all in full leaf. The chestnut trees are already flowering, the blossoms of apple trees, pear trees and plum trees have already disappeared ... but the tulips ... they are still beautifully in full bloom.

Wonderful days in February and March

Spring has been around here for a while, and despite the fact that we had really cooler temperatures last week, we were able to experience wonderful days in February and March with temperatures above 20 degrees. And yes, I just have to go outside, enjoy the first sun rays on my skin ... that warm me up nicely after a cold winter.

That feeling ... that means SPRING.

Only that feeling, that is just as hard to capture in a photo. So that's why I chose a few tulips in the morning sun.
