Hi, Steemit, my name is Max.
I don't have the chance to travel often, so every new trip is a big deal for me. As many of you, I'm taking lots and lots of pictures when traveling. The only audience to appreciate them is my family, so hundreds of photos just end up taking up space on my hard drive.
Let me share with you some pics taken during my recent travel to Crimea.
Ai-petri mountain is one of the most picturesque and impressive places in Crimea. Сrowds of tourists come here every year. The peak of the mountain can be seen from all of the nearby towns.
Excellent views of the sheer cliffs from the summit of Ai-petri.
Huge smooth rocks near ancient cave city of Eski-Kermen look really cool.
Can't imagine how on earth these goats got there.
There are caves in the rocks, that offer interesting perspective of the forest.
Here you need to be careful - so easy to fall off the cliff.
There are all kinds of herbs in the valleys. Some herbs are collected by the local residents for themselves or for sale.
There is a place called the Grand Canyon of Crimea. The cliffs make up the corridor there, on the bottom of which a small river flows. Everything is covered with shrubs and trees. The river and the trees provide coolness and give a shelter to local birds.
In a place called Chufut-Kale the cliffs reach to the low clouds.
These rocks are located near the Balaklava town. Here the cliffs are submerged in the water. Locals and tourists find places for swimming at the bottom of these cliffs.
Taken with a Nikon Coolpix S9700. Original pics by hex special for Steemit.

As I know Crimea is a part of Ukraine, not Russia.
