Hello dear Steemians

With a wingspan of 50 to 65 millimeters, this butterfly is quite a big one. The wing tops of the front wings are brown, in the middle of which a red strip runs. The female specimens, in this red line, usually have a small white point. At the tips, the front wings are black and there are various white spots on them. The rear wings are also dark brown and have a wide red stripe on the outer edge of the wings. This red stripe is decorated with black dots in the center. At the edge of all wings, a thin white line is visible, which is interrupted by several black dots. When the first rays of the sun warm the cherry blossoms in the spring, these moths are numerous on them.

Hallo liebe Steemians
