This was my travel to the one of the coldest province here in Philippines,
Banaue is in the north side of the map.
With the low temperature,Banaue is one of the biggest distributor of strawberries, cabbage, and other vegetables you can see in the market.
Banaue is also one of the famous tourist spot here in Philippines
Mentioning the Banaue as one of the wonders in the Philippines it is also a National Heritage because of the unique way of the native people to plant a rice even tough they have only few flat fields.
The Ifugaos crafts together with their will to live.
The Ifugao(native people of Banaue)have built one of the most beautiful agricultural landscape in the world.
It is the Banaue Rice Terraces!
But before you get to the Banaue Rice Terraces, you need to be prepare for some stamina testing or an hours of walking before you see the clouds kissing the peak of the mountain.
The Steel Bridge
Before, this bridge is not a steel bridge, before it was just made out of bamboo, lumbers, but because it became a tourist spot and because of the danger it brings to the people crossing trough the peak to the other mountain, they requested it to the municipality of Banaue to make it to renovate it so that tourist will not be afraid to pass trough the bridge. And we,my friends and I pass trough the said bridge, take a look at some of my pictures.
But before you get to the Banaue Rice Terraces, you need to be prepare for some stamina testing or an hours of walking before you see the clouds kissing the peak of the mountain.
The Long Walk
After passing trough the bridge..You need to walk about two hours, two hours of stamina testing but also two hours of breathetaking views. You can see now the clouds kissing the lands..The dews on the leaves of trees, the colder breeze of wind feeling into your skin, it was an unforgetable feeling to me,and to remember it.I did sure to get some photos while walking.
The Flower bloom
I rarely see flowers in this area of the land.,so when I saw one of a flower blooms I am happy to see one.I dont know the name of the flower but Im sure its not a roses.
The Target(The Banaue Rice Terraces)
And now after a very tiring walk.
All i can say is..
Its wonderful!
Its very tiring but full of excitement, most specially when youre going nearer and nearer the Terraces,Your tired body will be boosted of energy when you see those amazing views. For a traveller like me,it is best visited in summer with family and friends, fun and a best soul seeking adventure.

How to get to Banaue Rice Terraces
(With a bus)
A total of 8-9 hours from Manila
Take a bus from Cubao to Baguio
And after that.Again tale a bus from Baguio route to Banaue.
From there you need to rent a tricycle(maximum 4 person each tricycle)and tell to the driver,Youre going to the terraces.
From there,There is a tour guide, you can pay them for he/she will guide you to top of the mountain.Dont worry the native people as tour guide, they are the ones who most familiar with the route.
Thank you for visiting my post,

Ang ganda ng mga kuha mong litrato! Pero sakit ng puso ko kasi gusto ko din makapunta dito. Hanggang baguio pa lang naabot ko. Sana balang araw makarating din dito. Salamat sa pagbahagi!
