Hey Steemians!

Yesterday, I had the pleasure of finding a fellow Steemian @soonidrift who is running a brand, new photo contest. How fun! The theme for this second contest is Minimalism. I just had to join in to help support this fledging effort, and hope you do, too!

Here are my three entries:

How did the windows in the first pic look semi -transparent like this? Angle or Photoshop?

This is an almost modern depiction of HD

@jchch Hey there! This is a Frank Gehry building in Chelsea! Its windows are actually semi-transparent. I thought that was pretty brilliant on the part of the architect as so many glass office buildings are lovely but you can see all the office clutter which takes away from the aesthetics in my view. I wonder if Gehry took that into consideration when designing this building. I was in a car on the West Side Highway when I took this shot straight on...

You always have good eyes to discover Interesting views! :)

@jchch THANK YOU for your continued support! :D

I think

The initial image reflects the objects through the glass to look interlaced

@mero Thank you! That's a very cool building here in NYC! I like your perceptions!

Thanks for support

hi @ilanakoundi
i like the first picture in particular, at first,i didn't know what it was until i opened it and went down. nice work pal. and steem on!

@arizonawise.

@arizonawise Thank you! I appreciate your kind words! That's my favorite too. I wish the thumbnails could be adjusted for your first photo, but in this case I was hoping people might be curious enough to look and see. So glad you did! :D

you welcome . one thing i have noticed that sustains people here is consistency and being yourself. i wish yo well. thanks for following

hi @ilanaakoundi

The pictures are really beautiful and I am happy to hear that there are people here who meet with each other and enjoy together. It just does good to the heart. I would also be very happy to meet with people from Thailand or those who come here to host you and show them a bit where I live. I will always be happy to help in everything possible and everything is of course good and I have no need to pay or something like that, God forbid, so if someone comes or wants to come and has questions I will always be happy to answer and help in any way possible and I wish you a lot of joy in life and you will have only good and a lot Success and really thank you very much for this beautiful post!
@ravivshachar

@ravivshachar BIG smiles! I should have been more clear when I said "meet" in describing a Steemit introduction, which of course consists of finding an interesting post, upvoting and following if you think that person cool. So, I apologize for the misunderstanding! Having said that, I agree. It's nice when people can meet! I know there have been Steemit Meetups which seem like fun events and allow this wonderful virtual community to get to know each in the real world. Maybe one of these days! Also, thanks for your generous spirit and offers of help, you have a big heart! And for supporting my post, too. Very much appreciated! I wish you joy right back!

Great shots! Going to be hard to compete with these. :)

Very nice photographs. Is the third one low contrast on purpose? Liked all three of them. All the best for the contest @ilanaakoundi.
