In Memory Of Kaya

About a month ago, I met up with a dear friend and her beautiful family for a photoshoot. They had brought their pup, Kaya, as she is part of the family. I captured this beautiful image of her sweet son and Kaya.

Not much cuter than a boy and his dog, right?

Last week, Kaya unexpectedly passed away. Tomorrow, I am meeting with my friend for her gallery reveal and I know there will be tears. I want to gift them something as I know they are grieving. Maybe a 16x20 canvas of this photo? What would you want from your photographer if you were in my friend's shoes? I'm totally open to suggestions!

Thank you @Steemitboard

The black and white would be an awesome gift.

Thank you.

Sorry to hear about Kaya. Maybe a canvas but colored?

I'm torn because I love the image in black and white, but not as much in color...

Wow! talk about bringing a picture back to life!

I think colors add vivid details that one can appreciate and most importantly remember. In my humble opinion, this might be the perfect time to go color, especially for the occasion.

Thank you for your input. :)

Aww, I hate when fur babies cross the rainbow bridge. :(
I think I like the image in black & white best. It's a great image and I'm sure the family would love and cherish it.

Thank you. I prefer the black and white myself....

What a beautful photo. I would def frame this for them. It's perfect. Also, my condolences i know losing a family member (pets are family members) is TOUGH

I love the gift idea, but if you're looking for something that would be just as awesome, yet not be quite as pricey for you, you could consider a 16x20 luster print on a standout mount.

Thanks.
