These are from our mango trunk affected by the recent typhoon. Now totally dry from the sun, my brother need a few pieces of wood for his furniture-making business. One thing to watch when using the mango wood, make sure that there's no blackish and brownish discolorations from the insides. Usually it is notable in the middle. They musn't be used as already softened by termites.

Edited with my Samsung Galaxy S7.

It is sad when an old tree dies. It takes a long time for it to grow. Nothing really is forever under the Sun and we just make full use of things before they will be gone.

Nothing is forever kuya, all will end. The difference is on how one lived.

Very artistic @immarojas! 😂

Thanks Gillian! I sometimes try😄😄

holy cow, this is wild ... great photo too and typhoons are one the scariest things I've ever lived through ... minus 9/11 LOL

I think that once you're in a very secure place, which we were in the hospital, being in the middle of a strong typhoon isn't so bad.
Were you home during 9/11? near world trade?

on my way to work that day on 9/11

Still horrible to be in the same city..i have to check that gold angle. Ive never read something related to it.

yes it was not easy and the aftermath was pretty rough.

Did you leave soon after or stayed a while?
A friend of mine saw a dragon blowing fire to a city before it ever happened. She wasnt sure where till it happened.
