Ah, the familiar streets of Tampere. My wife and I were there in July 2018 and some of your photos look familiar. We walked around with @tarazkp, @momone and @smallsteps enjoying the lovely summer you had. Good times. Thanks for sharing.

Yeah, @tarazkp, his family and I hang around in the same corners but never meet. :D

I love street photography. Especially when there's happening something unusual like this tram line. Last years summer may have been a bit like Australian weather? Or was it too cold? Only about 30°C.

You'll run into him sometime.

Yeah, July in Tampere was warmish. We get into the mid-upper 40's here though. My Christmas day was spent in 44 degree temps and Boxing Day was 47. Still, we did enjoy the 30-something temps in Finland as it allowed us to go swimming in the lakes. Was nice.

I took this tonight during a walk on the beach. Only 28 degrees so no swimming.

Only 28 degrees so no swimming.

:D That's just about the temperature when I can go and swim. Fortunately we have a lido here now. So people like me, who do not swim at summer if the water is under 20°C, (winter and freezing cold water is totally different thing... :D ) and are afraid of killer pikes with huge teeth and giant octopuses in the dark water, which is a totally valid fear here in Finland, can also enjoy swimming in a crystal clear water. :D

Beautiful shot, by the way! :)

I'm not sure about killer pike. We have Sharks though. Big ones. I don't go into the sea too much and it needs to be hotter than 28 for me to do so. 😊

I'm afraid of the sharks too. Here in Finland. :D There is a very slight change, you know. I don't know if I could ever swim anywhere in Australia. Because of all the creatures in the water.

Yeah, I get it. The land can be just as dangerous. Still, one of the biggest killers here is drowning, not sharks, crocodiles, snakes, spiders, box jellyfish, paralysis ticks, scorpions, wild pigs, dingos or anything else. Simple drowning. Road death is another. Mostly you'd be safe though.
