La mayoría de nosotros vivimos en áreas urbanas, en ciudades ocupadas donde la naturaleza es domesticada y no ocupa un lugar importante en la vida cotidiana (…) La naturaleza es nuestro origen y el lugar donde se encuentran todas nuestras sutiles necesidades de belleza, misterio y aventura. La naturaleza tiene muchos regalos para nosotros si demostramos estar dispuestos a explorar su magnífica diversidad.

Nos sentimos conectados con la naturaleza, pero a veces difícilmente podemos explicar por qué nos impresiona tanto o por qué buscamos pasar tiempo en ella. La verdad es que somos parte de la naturaleza como cualquier otra cosa y cuando nos desconectamos de ella olvidamos quiénes somos.

We feel connected to nature, but sometimes we can hardly explain why it impresses us so much or why we seek to spend time in it. The truth is that we are part of nature like anything else and when we disconnect from it we forget who we are.
