Mubarak Mahal meaning the 'Auspicious Palace', was built as a reception centre by Maharaja Madho Singh II in the late 19th century. The architecture of the structure presents a classical fusion of the Rajput, Islamic and European styles.
Now a museum known as the Maharaja Sawai Man Singh II Museum, it has on display the finest of the textiles bringing forth the royal formal costumes, Sanganeri block prints, Kashmiri pashminas, embroidered shawls and silk sarees.
