A hike To the Pulgas Water Temple in Pacifica, California. It’s the terminus of the Hetch Hetchy water system that runs from the Little Yosemite valley all the way to this reservoir. It supplies water to the bay area and some surrounding areas.
A monument to the water gods.
A view of the temple courtyard and pool.
Dedication plaque.
The hike isn’t great as it’s directly beside the road, but the temple and gardens are very nice. This water system is an extremely impressive feat of engineering.
Map of the aquaduct system.
Photos taken on my iphone except the map.
