At the beginning of June about half of the roses (genus Rosa) in our garden is already blooming. I hope you will enjoy my photos of the "queen of flowers" which is cultivated already since more than 2000 years!

As I found some only just blooming and very beautiful other flowers as well, I decided to add their photos to this 'collection', too.
Have fun watching them!

Zu Beginn des neuen Monats Juni blüht schon ungefähr die Hälfte der Rosen (genus Rosa) in unserem Garten. Ich hoffe, euch gefallen die Fotos von der "Königin der Blumen", die bereits seit mehr als 2000 Jahren als Zierpflanze gezüchtet wird.

Da ich auch einige andere, gerade jetzt sehr schön blühende Blumen entdeckt habe, entschied ich mich dazu, ihre Fotos in die heutige 'Kollektion' mit aufzunehmen.

The 'rough comfrey' (Symphytum asperum) is very popular with bumblebees, that means it is a valuable plant to help these useful insects.

    Ja, wir versuchen, so viele gute Bienen- und Hummelpflanzen wie möglich in unserem Garten zu pflanzen. Aber ein paar schöne Rosen dürfen auch bei uns wachsen. :)
