Bridges are primarily constructed over rivers, usually on open roads, as there are generally no shops or large gatherings of people around riverbanks. For this reason, bridges are often built over rivers to facilitate transportation.
In many rivers, artificial dams are also constructed along these bridges to control the flow of water from one place to another. These dams help regulate water movement, ensuring it reaches different locations as needed. Such structures are designed for the convenience of people.
Nowadays, water plays a crucial role in agriculture, as farming cannot be carried out without an adequate water supply. Water is essential for agricultural activities, making these river structures even more significant.
