This is my entry into the Amateur photography division of #derangedphotography Deranged Photography Contest run by @derangedvisions. The theme this week is The Perfect Portrait. The Perfect Portrait is all about capturing the personality of your subject in the picture, not just posing them in the generic poses.
Kids are always great for this, their expressions and outlook on life is often very different to that of an adult. This is my daughter sitting the car after a day at the beach. Kids often leave you wondering what are they thinking, what is it that they find so interesting and it is often the things we overlook. It's these moments when you capture them in real life every day moments that I appreciate the most. Something has caught her attention here... but what was it that she was thinking?
A perfect portrait, indeed! Your daughter is a beautiful little girl. One can see the innocence in her face, and the freshness in her skin, and her eyes... yes, something caught her attention, she is interested, and there is happiness showing there!
