Hello!

I've decided to share with you some delicious Food Photo Shoot every other Wednesday with you my dear Steemers. Now, let's talk about ceviche. Who doesn't love the flavor of a delicious spicy and acidic entry dish to complement a wonderful meal at home? It turns out this ceviche is perfect for not only ceviche lovers but also for vegetariansbecause it does not contain any seafood or any sorts. Yes, you read it right!

It turns out that combining some of the most common ingredients present in the ceviche such as lime juice, onions, coriander, hot peppers and ginger and using tomatoes as the base, you can make emulate the fresh flavors of this dish. I promise, you won't even miss the fish.

The secret behind this dish? Don't eat it right away. Instead, let the tomatoes marinate for quite some time. Drink a glass of wine, listen to some relaxing music and after 25 minutes or so, be ready to serve and enjoy.

In Mexico we name it: "Pico de Gallo"... It is yummy if you add avocado then we name it:'guacamole" ;-)

This is similar but not quite because of ratio of the lime juice and ginger. I loooove pico de gallo by the way :)

You are right!.. if you add an ingredient it is a completely different flavor and colors. Thanks for sharing it.

how about the fish?

It's vegetarian, hence no fish! ;)

so you should called it something else! ahhaaha suggestions of mine would be: vegetable lime vinagrette or chopped veggies soak in citrus... how about that?

I feel that ceviche without fish is like asking for a cheeseburger without cheese, again just my opinion :)

Cheers! and btw that dish as a dipping for chips sounds pretty good!!!!
