Jeddah Islamic Port

My photography of Saudi Arabian Port which is Jeddah Islamic Port located in the middle of an international route between east and west.In the Arab world this is the largest and busiest port. Jeddah City was known second largest City in the kingdom of Saudi Arabia and the commercial capital of this country.Because it is the principal port it serves at the holy cities of Mecca and Medina. Jeddah port increased and reached its limit since Saudi Arabia was being developed into a modern country.
The said Port was establishes in September 1976 and was expanded from modest 10 operational berths in 1976 to the 58 berths of international standard in service today.

They represent the Saudi Ports Authority at the Transport Logistics Exhibition in Munich, Germany last June 4- June 7 of this year 2019. This exhibition is the largest and most important global trade exhibition specialized in the field of transport industry, freight forwarding, logistics services and information technology related to shipping.The purpose of participating in this global event is to highlight the Kingdom in facilitating the procedures of import and export, logistics services and the development of the maritime transport industry and in addition to attract more regional and international shipping lines.

Jeddah Islamic Port is considered one of the most important and largest Saudi ports. It receives more than 65 percent of the total imports and exports of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia by sea as well as 60 percent of the weights of goods received, in addition to 65 percent of the total imports of foodstuffs. Over the past year port has received 5,000 vessels and It provides 24 hour repair and maintenance services.
