Lundbreck Falls - Just off the Crowsnest highway. Alberta, Canada.

Just off the Crowsnest highway on the way to Fernie, BC is Lundbreck falls. It's a great place for a rest on your journey, or even just a place to come hang out. In the summer, people come to swim - even going as far as hanging out under the falls when the flow is a little less severe.

Above the falls are 2 viewing platforms if you want to get a better look, there's also ample parking and a bathroom so you don't have to wait for the next stop. Word to the wise....continue on into the Crowsnest Pass and stop at the Cinnamon Bear for cinnamon buns - you won't regret it (sadly I don't have pictures...I ate them.)

Turning around and going under the bridge leads you to a great trout fishing spot. You can usually find a few fishermen in the water trying their luck. It's rather peaceful.

Damn that looks spectacular. Plan to eventually make my way to and around Alberta, it's photos like these that make me chomp at the bit, it's your weather forecast that keeps me home😱

I don't blame you right now. It's insanely cold...even for us. A couple of months it will be gorgeous though.

Beautiful shots of a gorgeous place. Canada has so many spots that are relatively untouched and pristine.

Thanks muchly! We're pretty lucky - even when the parks are busy, there's still not that many people. :)
